Campus Compact for New Hampshire

Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH) is a consortium of New Hampshire’s college and university presidents committed to promoting service learning and civic engagement on campuses in New Hampshire.  CCNH provides leadership throughout the state and nation to reinvigorate the civic and moral leadership of higher education in ways that connect colleges and universities with the communities and constituencies they serve.  CCNH also works to expand higher education’s role in educating students not only for careers and jobs but also for their roles as active and engaged community members.  Campus Compact for New Hampshire administers the Northern New England AmeriCorps*VISTA Collaboration.

New Hampshire College & University Council

The New Hampshire College & University Council (NHCUC) is a non-profit consortium of 21, public and private institutions of higher education in the state of New Hampshire. These institutions are recognized and highly regarded for their outstanding teaching, research, and community service activities. They serve as major centers of activity that are vital to the economic development of the community and the state.

New Hampshire Scholars

New Hampshire Scholars is a community-based program that encourages students to take a more rigorous Core Course of Study in high school. It is based on a partnership between a community’s local business leaders and its school district. New Hampshire Scholars is funded through the New Hampshire Department of Education.

New Hampshire Scholars is coordinated through a partnership between the New Hampshire College and University Council, Campus Compact for New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Department of Education. New Hampshire Scholars is part of the National State Scholars Initiative Network. Twenty-five states across the country participate in this national initiative.

Northern New England Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA Collaboration

The Northern New England AmeriCorps VISTA Collaboration is comprised of the Campus Compact state affiliates in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.  The collaboration is based on mutual interest in supporting service and service-learning focused on anti-poverty measures across the more than seventy colleges and universities in our collective memberships.  The goal of our VISTA project is focused on the development of programming on campuses across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont that will increase access and retention to higher education for low income individuals by providing programming focused on improving college aspirations, promoting the belief that college is an option and increasing access to higher education for low income individuals seeking higher education.

AmeriCorps*VISTA is a national service program in which volunteers apply their skills in underserved communities, designing programs that will continue after they complete their service.  Part of the AmeriCorps national network of service programs, AmeriCorps*VISTA has been meeting the needs of communities since 1965.

Center for College Planning, NHHEAF

The Center for College Planning is dedicated to providing students and families with valuable information about the college planning process – from savings options and college admissions requirements, to applying for financial aid and scholarships. CCP promotes higher education as the means to achieving personal, career and life goals in 100% of the public high schools in New Hampshire. CCP provides FAFSA assistance and education- related content for EDvestinU borrowers.


Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness solution that helps districts and schools align student strengths and interests to postsecondary goals, improving student outcomes and connecting learning to life.

Career & College Clubs

Career & College Clubs is a research-based, career and college readiness program for grades 7-12. The Career & College Clubs curriculum is based on career and college readiness standards developed by NCCEP and informed by the ACT Holistic Framework. Each grade level contains sequenced lessons and activities in five, research-supported domains: 1) College and Career Preparation and Readiness, 2) Academic Preparation, 3) Leadership Development, 4) Social and Emotional Learning, and 5) Professional Etiquette.

Paradigm Shift

Paradigm Shift offers leadership training and development with a primary focus to create opportunities for leaders to lead intentionally. The Paradigm Shift consultants use practical leadership & adventure-based models to help leaders develop powerful relationships, set SMART goals, create personal responsibility, and develop a defined purpose. We invite our participants to learn through dynamic keynotes, interactive workshops, online coaching, and customized training. Most importantly, Paradigm Shift will challenge your team to develop into leaders.

Manchester School District (LEA)

As a community with an increasingly diverse population, Manchester School District offers a wide range of programs and initiatives. More than 1,500 students are English Language Learners who, as immigrants or refugees, are non-English proficient.  It is the mission of the Manchester School District, in partnership with the community, to inspire and empower all learners with the knowledge, skills, and experiences essential for them to reach their greatest potential.  The school district will be the LEA for GEAR UP Manchester and will provide office space, day to day supervision and ongoing support to the project. 

YMCA of Greater Manchester 

For decades the YMCA has offered programs that help children reach their potential, help families and individuals achieve better health outcomes, and encourage everyone to get involved and help make their community a better place.   The YMCA of Greater Manchester will act as a non profit partner for the project and provide opportunities for students to participate in their STAY afterschool program and Power Scholars summer program.
